Krones Filling Line and Conveyor Systems Power Ganten’s New Drinking Water Plant in Fujian
Ganten (Zhangzhou) Food and Beverage Co., Ltd.—the third-largest bottled water enterprise in China—has officially launched construction of its new modern packaged drinking water production base in Lantian Economic Development Zone, Longwen District, Zhangzhou City, Fujian Province.
The project involves a total investment of USD 41 million and covers an area of 55,693 m², with a planned construction area of 55,200 m². Once operational, it will focus on producing Ganten’s full range of packaged drinking water products for South China and beyond.
Arrival of Advanced Krones Filling Line and Conveyor Systems
In September, a German Krones production line—equipped with high-performance bottle conveyor systems, case conveyor systems, and pallet conveyor systems—arrived at Xiamen Port.
After completing customs clearance, all equipment was swiftly transported to the Zhangzhou construction site for assembly and commissioning.
These automated pallet conveyor systems and high-speed bottle conveyors are designed to ensure smooth product transfer, minimize downtime, and improve overall efficiency of the bottling line.
Integration of Intelligent Conveying and Green Manufacturing
Once fully operational, the Zhangzhou facility is expected to reach an annual production capacity of 600,000 tons of packaged water, with an estimated annual output value of USD 56.4 million.
By combining intelligent conveyor solutions with Krones’ high-precision filling technology, Ganten aims to create a model for green, efficient, and smart manufacturing.
The production base is also designed as an industrial tourism destination, integrating modern plant aesthetics, eco-friendly design, and public educational spaces.
